VENUE
The congress will be held at the Faculty of Chemistry
- The conference will take place at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) facilities. The USC was created in 1495, and it was recognized as a Royal University in 1555. In its long history, it has contributed to the cultural and scientific development of Galicia, the northwest region of Spain, and it has accumulated a great artistic and architectural patrimony.
- Santiago de Compostela is a small city with almost 100.000 inhabitants, where the USC has three campuses. The congress will be held at Faculty of Chemisty, Campus Vida (formely Campus Sur). This Campus aims to become a reference in teaching, research and sustainable creation of wealth, equity and social values; and it is only at 10-15 minutes walking from the city center
- In 2023, the studies of Chemistry in the USC celebrated the 100th anniversary. The Faculty of Chemistry (formerly Faculty of Sciences) was built in the area of the “Residencia”, with a façade from 1961 by Jenaro de la Fuente that remembers the old buildings of the university and that accommodates a sculptural ensemble presided by Minerva, and designed by José Ferreiro in 1803.
